At Lighthouse, our first priority is to ensure you have a smooth and successful start to your working relationship with us so that our teams are ready to handle your first matter with success. In order to achieve this, our project managers and account representatives developed a workflow that ensures a seamless client experience, without sacrificing the complexity and sophistication needed to handle ediscovery challenges.
Throughout this onboarding process, our team focuses on clean, clear, and consistent communication between you, your team, your outside counsel, and any review partners you may have. We kick it all off with an initial "success call" to introduce teams, layout the onboarding process, and gain a clear understanding of your goals and preferences so that we ensure complete alignment early on.
Our team brings a practical and strategic approach to every aspect of project management. Our experienced legal and technology experts aim to ensure consistency and a quality workflow throughout each phase of a project. Here’s how:
In addition to crafting a realistic and well-thought-out strategy, Lighthouse provides you with a consistent team of experts who bring years of practical experience to the table. Each client is assigned a "pod" of project managers typically made up of a senior project manager and at least two additional experienced project managers. Each pod is also paired with an ediscovery solutions analyst to spot and solve any technical issues as they arise. This team approach ensures consistent coverage by a team that knows your preferred processes and goals. Over time, the pod develops institutional knowledge of your data, meaning every project runs more efficiently and you receive substantial gains in speed, consistency, and cost savings.
Rather than offering a single monolithic tool and workflow, we tailor our process to make the most of our clients' internal resources. During a "case kickoff" meeting that takes place at the outset of each case, Lighthouse learns about the client's case goals and internal resources. From there, a case-specific project plan is created. As the case moves forward, the Lighthouse team meets daily, or as needed, to assess progress against the project plan, share information and keeping the client informed of progress. Along the way, Lighthouse advises clients on proportionality, defensibility, risk and cost.
The dedication and commitment shown by Lighthouse's project management team is unparalleled. I don't know what the last 6 months would have been like without you guys! Thank you, thank you!
